The Mobile Web

Does your business have a proper mobile web presence?

What's proper for a mobile website? Most times, just displaying your regular business website is not effective. The visitor cannot easily read a full website on their mobile device, nor do they want to. They need larger web buttons for easy navigation from their mobile device's touch screens and the ability to get quick "tidbits" of information, and that's what a mobile website should provide. Things like hours of operation, maps and directions, coupons and specials are all good examples of easily consumable information for a mobile user.

Mobile websites work right alongside your full business website, using the same domain name. Auto detection is implemented so when the website recognizes the browser as mobile, it can display a properly formated website. If it is not mobile, it simply displays your regular business website. Same domain, 2 different sets of information.

Did you know?

50 million Americans use their mobile phone to access the web every day. Mobile web growth is 4x that of the Internet itself. More than 50% of mobile users won't come back if they have a problem accessing your website. Not 2 of 100 businesses have mobile websites.

Take full advantage of the ever changing web, and get there before your competition does!

The technical services provider is called back, and they work with the internet provider to investigate the problem. After more downtime, a new router is installed and seems to have corrected the slow-running internet. Problem solved.More...
