By proactively managing your network we will reduce down-time through preventative maintenance, patch management and resolving problems as they are occurring rather than waiting for a phone call to tell us something is wrong. Since you are only paying a fixed cost, the risk is on our end to keep your network running smoothly and prevent problems that might be labor intensive to repair.
Infitech’s manageIT managed services program includes all of the following:
- Infitech’s monitorIT service for monitoring of networks, systems, and applications is included with this program at no additional cost.
- All remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting necessary to keep your network and computers running properly.
- Virus and Malware detection and removal.*
- Access to our Client Portal so you can submit and check the status of service requests.
- Monthly preventative maintenance on all servers.
- Patch Management to make sure all servers and workstations have the appropriate security and performance updates.
- Add on options for virus/malware protection, complete server imaging and backups, SPAM filtering and email security.
* Virus and Malware removal is included at no additional charge as long as customer is using an Infitech approved virus and malware program.
Monitoring and Alerting with Managed Services
24 x 7 Monitoring and Alerting will identify issues much faster and allow us to address these issues proactively before they cause down time. The monitoring service identifies network and device availability, alerts and pre-failure indicators, and automatically creates service tickets providing proactive resolutions to issues as they arise rather than waiting for downtime to trigger a phone call.
What You Can Expect
Upon signing up with our manageIT managed services program, we will come onsite, install our monitorIT software and review/document your current network infrastructure. Over the next several weeks we will review alerts and optimize your network and computers so that everything is running as it should and all security vulnerabilities are addressed. Once your network is performing up to standard, we will monitor the health of your network 24x7x365 and respond to issues as they are occurring. We will also always be available to take your phone call, email, or service request and will respond to your needs with urgency.
Managed Services Monthly Preventative Maintenance
We will perform onsite or remote preventative maintenance of all your servers to ensure proper performance and reduce the likelihood of downtime and failure. Typical preventative maintenance includes:
- Check and review backups for completion and content.
- Perform a test restore and/or virtual sever mount to make sure the backup data is recoverable.
- Check anti-virus software to make sure the latest version of the software and definitions are up to date.
- Check anti-virus logs for virus or malware activity.
- Review server event logs and correct any problems.
- Review updates and patches and schedule critical system updates.
- Review disk space usage and delete temporary and unnecessary files.
- Check health of hard disks and run defragmentation.
- Review server scheduled tasks for completion.
- Review firewall and intrusion detection logs. Update firewalls and routers to latest firmware versions.
